  Nice find in Astoria, we only drank but the food looks great, mostly regular pub food, the breakfast was supposed to be great. Great " dive" bar, solid pours for drinks. Will stop in again

  The food is probably prepared as well as one can given its marginal quality (most of the primary ingredients are heavily processed products from the industrial food source). Portions are generous, however, this is highly dependent upon who is behind the grill. As long as the cook is Ron you will receive your meal in the best presentation possible, again, given the limited quality of ingredients in their kitchen.
  
  They also have difficulty being consistent with the kitchen's hours of operation, it seems to fluctuate for no reason.
  
  If I were to compare them based on their prices, then only Mary Todd's would be their competition. However, Mary Todd's restaurant gives you the absolute lowest quality available but in greater portions than those of the Labor Temple Cafe.
  
  If you're seeking liberal portions of low to marginal quality food, then either of these places will satisfy you.

  Rustic but clean very old establishment. Lots of history in the building and the neighborhood. Great breakfast, fun coffee crowd. A local watering hole in the evening. Part of Astoria's history. A must see for those looking for unique and interesting bars or diners!

  This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is fresh and the servers are very friendly. My favorite is the grilles tuna melt with fries and a soda. I recommend this place to everyone.
