  We love going to dive bars and were excited to try this. About 5PM Sunday night, we walk in. We are the only ones in the room besides the bartender. The music was deafening. After yelling our order to the bartender, he turned it down half a decibel. 3 20-something people came in and ordered drinks. They sat for about 5 minutes and tried to lean into each other and talk. They finally sat outside. Since we walked in, there was a pizza on the kitchen window, sitting there the entire time. Old, stale pizza. Not very appetizing. Not sure why it sat there. There was one person walking in and out of the kitchen and the bartender was also in that area. No one bothered to removed it. While the entire place has kitchy voodoo stuff, it is also very dirty and dusty. I understand dive is "cool", but gross is not. We really wanted to order dinner and hang out, but the music was too much. Come look and decide if your ears can take it.

  A must visit in Astoria. It's tiny and there's only one cook, so bring patience. And cash. They don't take cards.

  The food looks great but we did not eat there due to the rudest waiter ever. They make you feel like your not welcome there and that your bothering them. After waking out we went to the bestro by the bike shop and had a great time there.
